Style DNA is a text description of your fashion rules (e.g., 'I prefer dark colors', 'No crop tops'). It guides the AI when generating outfits, packing lists, and shopping advice so suggestions feel personal to you.
Yes. Your wardrobe data is stored locally on your device (IndexedDB) and synced securely via encrypted Supabase connection. Photos sent to AI are processed in-memory and are never stored or used for training.
Absolutely. You have three likeness options in Profile > Avatar: (1) use your own photo for the most realistic Virtual Try-On, (2) generate an AI lookalike avatar that matches your attributes (height, build, skin tone, hair, etc.) without ever uploading your face, or (3) use no image at all. The 'no image' option disables Virtual Try-On — every other feature (closet, ensembles, travel, shopping, live chat) still works fully.
If you'd rather not share your face with the AI, StyleCopilot can generate a synthetic figure that visually resembles you based on attributes you specify — age range, build, skin tone, hair length and texture, and more. The avatar is not you, but it's similar enough for try-ons to feel useful. You can regenerate or tweak it any time.
StyleCopilot splits photo storage into two independent settings: Clothing photos (item shots, shopping scans) and Likeness photos (your face, AI avatar, companion photos, try-on results, trip day photos, Log Look selfies). Each can be Device-Only (stays on this browser, most private, single-device) or Cloud Sync (encrypted in transit and at rest, multi-device access). Three presets cover the common cases: Maximum Privacy (both device), Balanced (clothes cloud + likeness device — recommended), and Everywhere Access (both cloud). Metadata always syncs so the app works; photos are never used for AI training. Switch in Settings > Photo Storage Privacy — each category migrates independently.
Yes — that's the Balanced preset. Your clothing photos upload to encrypted cloud storage (so you can open your closet on phone, tablet, and desktop) while your likeness photos — profile photo, AI avatar, try-on results, trip day photos, and Log Look selfies — stay in your browser's IndexedDB and never upload. Switching one category doesn't touch the other; a guided migration moves only the category you're changing.
Yes. The full-body photo you upload is saved alongside the wear-log entry so you can see it later in the Style Calendar. It's stored under your Likeness storage mode — device-only (single-device, most private) or encrypted cloud sync (multi-device) — the same choice that governs your profile photo and try-on results. Deleting the log entry also deletes the photo. If your profile is set to No Image, you'll be asked before the selfie is saved and can choose to log just the items without the photo.
No. Images and prompts you send to AI features are processed in memory by Google Gemini via our edge-function proxy, returned, and discarded. They are not retained on our servers and are not used to train any AI model.
Credits power AI features like outfit generation, virtual try-on, and the live stylist. Each action has a base credit cost (some also charge per item). You receive credits monthly with your subscription, and trial users get a one-time credit allocation.
Go to Settings > Membership & Billing > Manage Plan. You can cancel from the Subscription page. You will retain access until the end of the billing period.
Your account data syncs via Supabase cloud. Wardrobe images are stored locally — use Settings > Data Management > 'Backup Data' to export, then 'Restore Data' on the new device.
You can view your closet and existing looks offline. However, adding items, generating new looks, travel planning, and Live Stylist require an internet connection for AI processing.
It uses Google Gemini AI with access to real-time search data to find the forecast for your specific destination and dates, then generates a capsule wardrobe tailored to the conditions.
In the Profile tab, AI can analyze your photo to determine your Color Season (e.g., Warm Autumn, Cool Winter) and best colors. This improves outfit and shopping recommendations by matching colors to your skin tone.
Open your camera and chat with an AI fashion expert in real time. Show what you're wearing, ask questions via voice or text, and get instant feedback on colors, fit, and alternatives from your closet. Available on Premium and above.
Yes! You get a full 14-day trial with AI credits — no credit card required. You can digitize your closet, generate outfits, try on looks virtually, and explore every feature before deciding on a plan.
You can upgrade to a paid plan to keep your wardrobe and access AI features. Your closet data is always preserved — even if you don't upgrade immediately, it's there when you come back.
